Garden and patio decoration inspiration
The Battery Playscape, located in Lower Manhattan, offers a unique blend of futuristic design and ecological education. Opened in December 2021, this 1.5-acre playground encourages environmental awareness through its five distinct ecology zones. Designed by BKSK Architects and Starr Whitehouse Landscape Architects, the playscape features custom-built amenities from Maglin, including mirrored shade cloud canopies, laser-cut steel screens, and curved seating. These elements create an engaging, climate-resilient space for children and their caregivers to explore.
