Terrace roofing ideas
Many owners of private households today build and install modern patio coverings. Such a housing looks like an additional room of the house, built on the back or rarely in front of the building. It has the same functions as any traditional terrace: so that you can sit there with your family, rest, play cards or other table games, have tea. Children can play there. In contrast to traditional patios, this patio cover is more like a veranda. It protects against rain or snow, too much sun or other weather inconveniences. Such a patio cover is literally flooded with natural light.

It is usually installed on the cement floor, but finishing the room is only a matter of the homeowner’s taste. The extension, which is located on the wooden platform or deck, offers additional space not only inside, but also outside. The whole family gets an additional space for relaxing, barbecuing or active play for children and adults. If one of the walls is part of a building, the other side can be made of glass. Transparent glass walls and sliding doors can be a great option for building an additional room or a porch.

Today there are different types of patio cover. If you choose your variant when building an individual patio cover, you can choose round, square, rectangular and irregular shapes. The unit can be built like an extension of the house, stand-alone or wrapped around the perimeter of the house.
